I didn’t start with the best gear.
I started with what I could afford—crashing cheap drones, learning through pain, passion, and YouTube rabbit holes. But somewhere between all those broken frames and sleepless edits, I found something bigger than just flying a drone.
I found freedom.
A perspective of life from above. My name is Gunj Guglani, and I’m a filmmaker, an aero-artist, and the founder of Sunbird Films. I’ve created FPV and lifestyle content for some of the world’s top travel, hospitality, and real estate brands. But this journey didn’t begin in a luxury hotel.
It began in a small room, soldering wires and dreaming of skies. FPV gave me purpose.
It gave me a career, a community, and a canvas to tell stories no traditional camera ever could. After years of mastering the craft—from cinematic dives to high-speed chases—I realized something:
